Terms of service
The short version: use Grami for yourself, treat its numbers as good estimates rather than medical facts, and don’t try to break it.
Last updated 9 September 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Softlance (Euvoia, Greece), the provider of the Grami mobile app and this website. Creating an account or using the app means you accept them.
2. Your account
- You need a valid email address, and you are responsible for keeping your password private.
- One account is for one person. Don't share it.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Tell us at info@softlance.dev if you think someone else has access to your account.
3. Nutrition estimates are estimates
Grami uses AI to estimate the contents of a meal from a photo, a description or a barcode. Those numbers are approximations, and you can edit any of them before saving. Grami is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary or clinical advice. Do not use it to manage a medical condition, and talk to a qualified professional before making significant changes to how you eat — particularly if you are pregnant, have diabetes, an eating disorder, kidney disease, or any other condition affected by diet.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't use Grami for anything illegal, or upload content you have no right to upload.
- Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or work around its rate limits.
- Don't use the analysis features as a general-purpose image or text API — they are there to log your meals.
5. Your content
Your meal photos and entries stay yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store them, show them back to you, and pass a photo or description to our analysis provider to produce the nutrition numbers. See the privacy policy for the detail.
6. Availability
We work to keep Grami fast and available, but it is provided “as is”, without a guarantee of uninterrupted service. Features can change, and parts of the service depend on third parties (app stores, hosting, the analysis provider) that we do not control.
7. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time — see deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk, with notice where reasonably possible.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Softlance is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for decisions taken on the basis of a nutrition estimate, or for lost data beyond what a reasonable backup would have restored. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
9. Governing law
Greek law applies, and the courts of Greece have jurisdiction — without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country of residence.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the app. Continuing to use Grami after that means you accept the new version.
